Okay for today update i like to talk about discussion essay. Do you guys know what is discussion essay? the meaning of discussion essay is a broad term. Usually a brief explanation of the topic or item to discuss could be helpful, but the main thrust is to give the pros and cons, and then to go on to mention the implications they might have that can affect us. Miss Zu has asked my group to do the discussion essay based on the "taken" movie that she had shown to us. But sorry guys, i can't show my essay to you guys because the goup essay is with afiq.

                              

But i have search the internet about the sample of discussion essay so that i can show you guys how the discussion essay can be write. i hope you guys enjoy reading it.

Everyone needs to buy things in order to live, and everyone likes to get things as conveniently and cheaply as possible. For this reason, there are many supermarkets or stores appearing. However, getting into the supermarket business can be difficult, so I have written some ideas to make a supermarket become successful and make a large profit. 

The first aspect to be discussed is that of good service. Firstly, the correct attitude in attending to customers is very important. Attendants should always smile to customers, no matter whether the customer is right or wrong. When customers ask where they can find things, attendants should not only show the way, but also they should go and get things for the customers. Secondly, a supermarket needs to provide good after-sales service. For example, when customers buy big and heavy items, they cannot carry them by themselves; the supermarket should thus help them take the items to the right places free of charge. If the place is too far away, the supermarket could ask the customer to contribute some money.

A further aspect to be considered is the need for good products. In my opinion, when a supermarket is stocked with goods, it should check the sell-by date of goods, and make sure all of them are fresh and have good quality. What is more, a successful supermarket has many different kinds of goods, and its prices are balanced. For instance, TESCO, which is a successful supermarket in Britain, has balanced prices. In the supermarket, items have different prices on one price tag: one referring to TESCO, the others from other supermarkets. When customers buy items, they can thus compare prices, in order to choose the best ones to buy. Moreover, a supermarket should update goods quickly in order to make sure they are fresh.

While a supermarket needs to do things for customers, it also needs to expand its business and make a large profit. In my opinion, first of all, the store should learn about the customers that it wants to provide goods to. The supermarket should check whether customers look for low prices or a certain type of good. Secondly, a supermarket should be well situated, and have pleasant surroundings. For example, a supermarket can be built in a place with a park nearby, and with many trees. This kind of location could make customers feel comfortable. Moreover, it should have a car park which is big enough, and the car parking should be free. When customers get into the supermarket there should be soft music, and all goods should be divided into different kinds to put in order. Customers can pick up things that they want very easily. A supermarket may also use good IT systems. For instance, customers might find things on the internet and know where they are, then pick them up quickly. Thirdly, a successful supermarket should know other supermarkets well. It can send its own employees to research the others’ information, such as price, types of advertisement, discounts and sales ploys. Fourthly, a supermarket can have its own brand products and diversify in order to expand its business. For example, TESCO is not only a supermarket, but has its own mobile. Furthermore, it can have its own club to attract customers to join in.

In a nutshell, a successful supermarket is difficult to manage. It needs good service, good products, and good ideas to expand its business and make a large profit. 

Argumentative Essay

Hello everyone and welcome to Megat Nazhif Blog. For today’s class our class learnt how to write a Argumentative essay. This fourth time I learnt how to write a good essay from Miss Zu.  Before we start writing the argumentative essay, like usually Miss will divide us into group but for this essay she want individually. She says that she want to see us in writing a good essay. When writing an argumentative essay, remember to do the following:

Ø  Pick a well defined controversial topic

Ø  State clearly what your position is.

Ø  Offer between three or to five reasons or points to support your stand.

Ø  Provide sample support for your reasons

Ø  Present your arguments in an orderly manner                                                                               

This my essay example:                             

In Malaysia nowdays, we can see women that act like a guy or become bolder and aggressive in achieving their happiness. "The day will come when men will recognize woman as his peer, not only at the fireside, but in councils of the nation. Then, and not until then, will there be the perfect comradeship, the ideal union between the sexes that shall result in the highest development of the race." (Susan B. Anthony,n.d.) Although many people claims that nowadays women are becoming bolder and aggressive and men are more sensitive, but there are some people disagree with that statement because men was born to became a leader in family or country and women is needed to support men.

            There some who says that women is smarter and bolder than men because we can see that nowdays many women get accepted to university easily but men must struggle to get in the university. Because of this women highly think that they are better than men and they can achieve anything in this world. However, men is better than women in study and smarter and bolder than them is because men can control their emotion. If they can’t control their emotion it will affect their study or work. Men also can easily cooperate when their in the group and because of this men is suitable to lead women. “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” (Abraham Lincoln).

            Besides that, they also some community thinks that women are bolder and aggressive when they in work because we can see that women intend to give bolder ideas in achiving a succesful life and sometimes they can be a little aggressive when work involve. And sometimes women thinks that men aren’t enough to adapt in diffcult situation because they are to sensitive. But they are also some people that think men is better when working because when men give a ideas and the ideas is not working, they will never give up and will try new solution to make a better. Not likes women that easily to give up when have to much pressure. “Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened” (Winston Churchill).

            Moreover, they also some people claim that women are bolder and aggressive because they can live without men in her life or she make her husband to work as a household and herself working because she thinks she is better than men and she can control men easily. According to self growth.com, in recent times, women have become bolder, aggressive and surer of themselves. They are no longer content in staying behind the shadows of their mates and husbands; rather they want to have a taste of power and success in their own . Nevertheless, they are some people thinks that men can do because men are born to lead and guide women to achieve a better life. As we can see nowdays men have higher position in the country because they have the abilities to guide the other into succesful life and women act as supporter to support the men. “Women may fall when there's no strength in men.” (William Shakespeare).

No matter how you look at it, men are better and bolder than women because they were born to become a leader and women is easily to be emotionally. You must agree that we can see it in our daily live or country that many the leader is a men and men can lead the organization into succesful and women help to support men. “Leadership is the desire and ability to inspire individual achievement, while a leader is just a guy at the top of the heap worried about his own” (Keith Mullen).

                                             

Speaking Test Reminder

SPEAKING TEST!!!! I like wow, I totally forget about speaking test because our class were so busy doing term paper and blog until Miss Zu remind us about the speaking test. For this semester they will be a little bit different from the speaking test that I have done. Because this speaking test is more harder than the past. Because in this speaking test need to speak more if you want higher marks. And the marks will be given individually on how their present their skill when speaking. Miss Zu has divide our class into group, so that she can easily takes mark. My group consist of Syieda, Durrah, Malies and me.Miss zu also distribute every group a papers so that we can prepare ourselves. Pray for our success in getting higher marks.

                                       

Peer Editing

Hello guys and how are you? Today’s topic is peer editing. At first when I heard this word from Miss Zu, I was like what is peer editing and how we suppose to do this things. Then Ameer explain to me what is the meaning of peer editing. Peer editing can occur when we exchange our term paper with other group, then we must read other group term paper and give a comment so that the group can produce a better term paper then before.

I get to exchange the term paper with Meera group. Meera group were writing about “Metro Sexual Among Men” by using argumentative essay. At first when I read their essay, I didn’t understand anything because I know little about this topic. But I try to read and understand this essay slowly and give a comment. To me Meera group done a good job in making their topic to become interesting. After the peer editing done, we must exchange back the term paper.

Forum Time

Assalamualaikum and good days to my viewer. Welcome to my Megat Nazhif Blog. Ok for today class we doing a speaking activities but in forum. I dislike doing forum because every time forum was held and present I will become very nervous and I all my word will become very messy. By hook or by crook I must do the forum because Miss Zu had given us the task. First I will introduce my group that consist of Fatin, Durrah, Aini and me. Our topic is about discuss the reason why the price sky-rocketing in a country. I was given a task to become a host when presenting the forum and others will become the panel. When our group went in front to present our forum, I became a little nervous until the forum end. But I try my best and hopefully Miss Zu give me a good marks.

                                                                                     

Problem-Solution Essay

Hello everyone and welcome to Megat Nazhif Blog. For today’s class our class learnt how to write a problem and solution essay. This the third time I learnt how to write a good essay from Miss Zu.  Before we start writing the problem and solution essay, like usually Miss will divide us into group. But for this update I like to talk more details about this essay. The first step in writng a problem-solution essay is identifying a problem. It is important that you understand the nature of the problem and then define it to the best of your ability. Problems you might encounter daily as a student:

  

   Ø  Accommodation

   Ø  Food

   Ø  Family

   Ø  Communication

   Ø  Peer pressure

When you have understand the problem and its causes, you can then start thinking of possible ways to solve  the problem. Finding the solution is essay but it can become harder because need to research and elaborate more so that the reader understand.

Compare and Contrast Essay

The first essay that I learnt from Miss Zu is “Cause and Effect Essay”, but for today class Miss Zu teaches us how to write a “Compare and Contrast Essay”. It’s the same like the first time when Miss Zu teaches us the first essay, she also divide us into group and show us some video. I was group with Afiq,  Fauzana, Syieda and Ainol. And this is our essay for compare and contrast essay:

Roseanne Barr ever said  ‘’As a housewives , I feel that if the kids are still alive when my husband gets home from work, then hey, I’ve done my job’’.Housewives are the only workers in the world  who do not have regular time off.They are in a great vacationless job as according to Anne Morrow Lindbergh.All over the world ,this women called housewives is doing  the same task,the same job in managing their own family.They take care of their husband, concern about their children’s heatlh and education  and so always make sure their home is the best place in the world for their family to be .There is one drama series that story about housewives.It is called  Desperate Housewives.Two women,Lynette Scavo and Bree Van de Kamp are both a housewives with children but the things that did makes them looks unequal are their attitude and the way they manage their family.

The first differences between Lynette Scavo and Bree Van De Kamp is the way there managing their children. According to http://www.psychology.org.au. Parents face many challenges in raising their children to be safe, happy, well adjusted and able to deal with conflict and frustrations in non-violent and effective ways. Many parents are concerned about the amount of violence children are exposed to. It same goes to Lynette Scavo and Bree Van De Kamp. There have a different way to manage their children, for Bree Van De Kamp the way that she manage their children will be little bit strict, this is because in the outside appears we can see her children very timid but inside they intend to be rebellious. In the other hand, Lynette Scavo seems like clumsy when she manages her children. We can see when she asks their children to come out from the pool, but the child doesn’t listen at all. So she decides to go into the pool to pull out her children out of the pool by herself. The way that she manages their children is seem like her children did not

According to http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/keywords/attitude.html , attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.  The difference between Lynette Scavo and Bree Van De Kamp is their attitude around the community at their homeland. Bree Van De Kamp is very a perfectionist, she always makes sure that everything goes perfectly and accordingly. Besides that, she also has another attitude and that attitudes is strict. This attitude appears when she with her familys and we can see it when her childrens follow her words timidly however they tend to be rebellious.  However, Lynette Scavo has the opposite attitude, because she is very clumsy and we can see it by its appreance and  when she try to persuade her children to get out of the pool untill herself has to go inside the pool to pull out her children.

Despites these differences, Lynette Scavo and Bree Van De Kamp share a same personality which is both of them is a housewives. According to “Housewives,” (n.d.) housewives are a term that can be used for married woman where they play the main role in action family’s home. From this two character, we can see that Bree do all the house chores such as sewing, gardening, and cooking for her family. On the other hand, Lynette duty as a housewife is take care of her children. She looks like very concern about her children and it same goes with Bree. Besides doing all the house chores, as a housewife, Bree and Lynette are trying to do their best for their family. We can see this similarity from both of them when Bree was being a strict mother and Lynette sometimes being so clumsy handling her children. From there, we know that both of them try hard to do the best for their family.

 People tend to think that being a housewife is not a difficult task. Well, they are wrong. Women need to prepare mentally and physically in order to lead their family without any trouble. That is a lot of work under their belt. Moreover, for housewives who have responsibility inside and outside the house, it will be tougher for them. Despite, men being the family’s leader, their role cannot be compared with women’s role as housewives. Most of men need women’s help in order to lead a peaceful family. There is a saying that no matter how high a woman study, she will end up being a housewife after all, so why bother study? These thought is completely wrong as women are able to do both. Thus, it is up to the housewives to compare the differences and similarities between Lynette Scavo and Bree Van De Kamp before deciding which one suits to be their role model of housewife.
