Basic Essay Structure

If you have then for this topic I like to talk about how to construct a basic essay structure. For today class I learnt about how to construct a basic essay structure from Miss Zu and I like to share it with you guys. In every essay what we need is a introduction, body paragraph and the conclusion.

For the introduction, Miss teaches us that we need a hook, transition and thesis statement to make our introduction complete and to attract the reader to read our essay. In a hook for the introduction we can use question, statistic, facts and quotation to support our main idea in the introduction. I will show my term paper introduction so that you can understand a little bit more how to construct a basic essay structure.

According to Minister of Health Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, after investigate six Universities all around the nation that need to be done from April until September, involving 6,540 students and they found out that 4.8 percent of students found to have severe depression,  17.1 percent tend to have anxiety and 5.2 percent having a chronic stress. Stress is a part of everyone's life. A certain amount of stress is to be expected in daily life, but too much stress may be harmful. ‘’A great deal of research has examined the effects of stress on variables such as adaptation outcomes’’.(Lazarus, DeLongis, Folkman, & Gruen, 1985). So what is stress? Most of the students define stress as a burden while study and some student tend to quit from university because having a stress while studies and they could not stand the pressure and make a hasty decision that can affect their future. Most of university students experience stress that change their physical and affect their health which eventually cause from several factors such as failing to manage time wisely, practicing unhealthy lifestyle and having conflicts with their colleagues as well as roommates.

For the body paragraph, we use the topic sentence to elaborate more and to make a sentence so by having a supporting details so that our essay so that It can support our essay. For the conclusion we can restatement the thesis statement and we can give our opinion or summaries to make our essay complete.
